Another year-end award has just presented its trophies to deserving idol groups, singers, personalities, and artists.

The 2021 Asia Artist Awards is an annual awards ceremony organized by Star News and Star Continent. It was first held on November 16, 2016, at the Kyung Hee University Hall of Peace and was broadcast live all across Asia.

This year, Asia Artist Awards distributed nine grand prizes or Daesang. The 2021 AAA was hosted by Super Junior Leeteuk and IVE Jang Won Young. Only the artists were present inside the KBS Arena, and it was only streamed on online platforms for the audiences to prevent the spread of the virus.

BTS Takes Home Song Of The Year At The 2021 Asia Artist Awards

The worldwide superstars again took home another prestigious recognition as they won Song of the Year at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards. BTS has been staying out of South Korea and is currently in Los Angeles since November 27 for their overseas events.

The members won Song of the Year with the song “Butter” among their many releases for 2021. Through their recorded acceptance speech, BTS extended their gratitude to the fans who have always supported and loved them throughout their growing career.

They also hoped that “Butter” and all their songs would continue to be a memorable release for many other people in the future.

Aespa Wins Stage Of The Year At The 2021 Asia Artist Awards

The year 2021 is a glorious one for the members of aespa. Since their debut in November 2020, the girls have continuously swept the domestic and international charts with their explosive singles, starting with the phenomenal “Black Mamba.”

Aespa has also created an impressive craze with the addicting track “Next Level,” which sees almost everyone singing along and dancing to it.

Currently, aespa has snagged countless awards and recognitions with the first EP Savage. The album actively received positive reviews from global audiences who even observed the girl group’s unique identity and futuristic “cyberpunk” style. The album marked aespa’s first and highest entry on the Billboard 200. It was not an exaggeration to say that even though the pandemic did not let the girls perform personally for fans, it did not stop them from extending their potential through marvelous stages.

With that, it is no wonder that aespa is perfectly deserving for the Stage of the Year at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards, especially with their state-of-the-art concept and visuals, as well as the magnificent camera tricks and movements in their every performance.

In particular, SEVENTEEN’s latest EP Attacca sold 1.41 million pre-order sales, which effortlessly surpassed their previous EP Your Choice with 1.36 million copies. SEVENTEEN’s fame display did not stop there as the album continued to sell 1.9 million copies in October, making it the group’s 5th consecutive million-seller album in a row.
