What Is the Medalist Anime About?
Tsukasa Akeuraji had initially set his sights on conquering the figure skating world as a solo skater, never anticipating that he would find himself drawn into the world of ice dancing.
His late start, as he would later regret, forced him into an unknown path.
For a long period of time, he settled for a mere semblance of his once most important aspirations.
That was until he crossed paths with a young girl who mirrored his past self.
Inori Yuitsuka, a determined fifth-grader, harbored a secret desire to excel in skating, visiting Tsukasa’s rink with her mother in hopes of securing lessons.
Unfortunately, she is surrounded by a chorus of discouragement and is dismissed as incapable.
She was repeatedly told that it was too late for her to begin and catch up to the competition.
Empowered by a fresh resolve and determined not to witness another skater lose focus, Tsukasa embraces the role of her coach.
He makes a solemn vow to transform Inori into a champion, an endeavor fueled by his personal history and unwavering commitment.
When Will the Medalist Anime Be Released?
As of writing, the official release date of the Medalist anime has not yet been announced.

During the initial announcement, Kadokawa only revealed the main cast and staff for the Medalist.

Which Studio Is Animating Medalist?
Engi has been roped in to handle the animation of the Medalist anime.
The studio came into existence in 2018 and has worked on anime titles like The Detective Is Already Dead, Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me, Unnamed Memory and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!
The Medalist Anime Trailer
As of now, the staff has not shared any official teaser or trailer for the Medalist anime.
