It goes without saying that Hollywood has officially caught the Korean fever and so has the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Seo-joon's character has been a huge mystery to a lot of fans and while others are under the impression that he'll only appear in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it capacity, it looks like Marvel Studios is giving the actor a significant role in the anticipated project.

Twitter insider @CanWeGetToast reports that the K-drama superstar has been given quite a hefty role in The Marvels. According to their scoop, Seo-joon will be playing Prince Yan of the musical planet Aladna. It looks like the actor isn't going to be on the villain side as the scoop claims that he'll give Carol Danvers and company upgraded suits, with one resembling Genis Vell’s costume in the comics.

Previously, PSJ was rumored to be playing Amadeus Cho, a Korean-American scientist who transforms into a version of The Hulk called Brawn. The character even becomes Bruce Banner's successor in the comics but it turns out that the 32-year-old is playing someone else. It's also safe to assume that his role will be a one-off but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Marvels is slated for release in theaters on July 28, 2023.
