MCU Fans Want Bradley Cooper to Join the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Promo Tour

Ahead of its release next week, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 promo tour has finally kicked off. On Twitter, James Gunn can’t help but share a few snaps from their press junkets to commemorate the final film in his beloved trilogy.

Aside from the excitement to watch the third film, MCU fans are obviously happy to see the cast together again as they promote the Marvel movie. However, others are in a position to ask, where are the other cast members who seem to be absent in the press conferences being held all over the world?

One fan commented on one of the images of Gunn with some of the cast, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Vin Diesel. The user genuinely asked why Bradley Cooper, who voiced Rocket Racoon, was never with them during promotions.

The query gathered various reactions, with some saying that he’s not always present on such occasions given that he’s just a voice actor, but so is Diesel. While others argue that it’s probably in his contract that he’s not obligated to show up at conferences.

Cooper’s Rocket has become one of the most cherished MCU characters, and when the rumors spread that Vol. 3 will see his heroic death or will hauntingly explore his story arc, fans are totally in for the ride.

Gunn previously stated that he came back to finish the trilogy with the main intention of telling Rocket’s story, which seems to be one of the highlights of this epic conclusion. “The most important thing for me was Rocket’s story, and then, following that, everybody else,” he said.

“Rocket is the secret protagonist of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and has always been the center of it for me, and this is really fulfilling that. The reason I came back, and decided to do this movie, was because I really felt like Rocket’s story needed to be told—and it was left hanging after Vol 2. So that’s the most important thing.”

Other than Cooper, some fans are also asking why Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer, is not present in the promotion. At this point, the fans might just be in the position where they want to see the complete cast one last time.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 premieres in theaters on May 5.
