Naturally, MCU diehards were stoked to see the return of beloved characters like Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, as well as the introduction of adult Cassie Lang and Kang the Conqueror himself. However, the enthusiasm quickly turned into dismay following the appearance of Bill Murray who plays a mysterious character in the sequel.

In case you weren't aware, the Ghostbusters icon has been facing allegations of sexual harassment, and just recently, an old clip of him "molesting" actress Geena Davis on The Arsenio Hall Show resurfaced online. Earlier this year, production for Murray's upcoming film Being Mortal was halted after the 72-year-old Hollywood legend was accused of inappropriate behavior by one of his co-stars.

Now, Murray is once again under fire on social media and most fans want the actor taken out of Ant-Man 3. Check out some of the reactions here:

Marvel Studios is no longer a stranger to its stars facing backlash and most recently, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress Letitia Wright stirred controversy for her alleged views against COVID-19 vaccines. Intriguingly, the studio and Disney for that matter have left the issue unaddressed although it's night and day compared to Murray's scandal.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
