Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are going absolutely mental following the "unintentional" release of Spider-Man: No Way Home's trailer ahead of its debut at CinemaCon 2021. The said leak surfaced yesterday all over social media but was quickly taken down by Sony on various platforms, including its original source TikTok. As it stands, we still don't know for sure if the studio will drop the trailer following CinemaCon which for the most part is an industry event but it's safe to assume that everyone is already in panic mode following the leak.

The said trailer drops today, August 23rd, a date that may ring a bell amongst Marvel fanatics. If it seems familiar to you, it's because August 23rd is the day Wanda Maximoff and Vision celebrate their "anniversary" as seen in Episode 1 of Phase Four's opening salvo WandaVision. It's probably all just coincidental but a lot of fans are convinced that the hit MCU series may have predicted the release date of No Way Home's highly-anticipated teaser. Meanwhile, if you haven't seen the aforementioned trailer, several links are still making the rounds all across social media and you'll just have to do some digging to find them. If you're not a fan of spoilers, checking out the clip is probably not the best option but honestly, at this point, it's hard to contain the curiosity and excitement because we've been waiting for this trailer to drop since last year.

Hopefully, Sony releases the real deal within 24 hours because quite frankly, as legit as the leaked trailer is, it's a little hard to watch.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in cinemas on December 17, 2021.
