Marvel's Avengers Gameplay Footage Will Be Released After Gamescom 2019

If you were in San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) then you were finally able to see some gameplay footage from Marvel's Avengers, published by Square Enix and developed by Crystal Dynamics. The real question is, when will the rest of the world get to see this gameplay footage? Well, we finally got word from the Marvel Games panel during SDCC, where it confirmed that the video will be released online after Gamescom 2019.

For those unaware, Gamescom 2019 runs from August 20 to 24, so there's a good chance that the Avengers demo footage will premiere on August 26 (thanks to Gematsu). That's a month or so away but at least we have some reasonable waiting time, though they probably should have debuted this during E3 since everyone seems to like the gameplay they've seen and, honestly, the trailer that is available isn't very good.

Judging from the reactions online, it looks like this will be some lengthy Avengers videos. There's a good chance that it will be divided into several videos since they show gameplay and customization so that's a lot of things to look forward to. For now, we'll have to be patient and hope that Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics pull this game off since we all want another good Marvel game like Marvel's Spider-Man.

Marvel's Avengers will be coming out on May 15, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
