Marvel’s Avengers Clip Suggests The Arrival Of Ant-Man

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have been causing such a ruckus today, revealing the very first trailer for Marvel's Avengers during the 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The game seems to be an action platform, featuring five key Avengers members – Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and the Hulk.

But that's not all. Square Enix also shared a special clip after dropping the cinematic trailer for Marvel's Avengers. Guess what we get to see in the video? Hank Pym. Not only is this a confirmation that Pym is going to be in Square Enix's new Marvel videogame, but Hank's shrink ray also suggests the presence of Ant-Man.

Check out the clip down here:

For those who aren't familiar with Hank Pym and his history, the character is an entomologist and physicist who develops the Ant-Man suit after discovering the Pym Particles. Hank becomes the first Ant-Man while working for S.H.I.E.LD. as the organization's consultant. Leaving S.H.I.E.L.D., Hank forms his own company, Pym Technologies. He then passes on the title to Scott Lang, a character played by Paul Rudd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While fans might be excited to see Lang make his way into the game, it's worth noting that Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have already said that the characters in Marvel's Avengers would be their own version of the characters and not the same as the heroes we get to see in the MCU. Pym might actually be the Ant-Man in this game. Who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.

Marvel's Avengers set for release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia next year.
