Marvel Theory Suggests Spider-Man Will Bond With Venom

Ever since Disney managed to smoothen out its deal with Sony to keep Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, rumors have been spreading that Peter Parker might make an appearance in the second Venom movie.

While the idea of Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock and Holland's Peter Parker crossing paths on the big screen sounds a whole lot exciting, there are some hoping for more – for Spider-Man to actually become Venom.

According to a report by Comic Book Review, a new fan theory suggests that Spider-Man may very well bond with Venom when he appears in Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters. A team-up between the two characters would definitely send fans flocking to cinemas. It also helps that the mid-credits sequence for Spider-Man: Far From Home gives Marvel and Sony the perfect set-up for a team-up between Spidey and Venom.

During the mid-credits sequence, fans get to see The Daily Bugle releasing an edited video from Mysterio (Jake Gyllanhaal) framing Spider-Man for the attack on London and then revealing the hero's identity as Peter Parker.

This is where Eddie Brock comes in. The next Spider-Man could very well introduce the reporter covering the Spider-Man reveal. We wouldn't be surprised if Brock got close to Peter after the reveal – the journalist does have a tendency to bend the rules.

Of course, as exciting as this new reveal is, we warn fans to take the report with a grain of salt. We can't really be sure about anything until Marvel sends a confirmation. Let's just sit back tight and wait and see.
