Marvel Teases Big Things Ahead for Blade

People always seem to remember the first two Blade movies but they often forget that the character is from Marvel Comics. While he hasn't had a film since the abysmal Blade Trinity, Marvel seems to be in the process of rebuilding him in the comics, especially since he is a member of The Avengers. Though the character has been a memorable part of the series thus far, Marvel is teasing something bigger for the Daywalker.

Marvel shared an image of Blade with the taglines: "No Compromise. No Mercy." The image states that more will be revealed on June 11, with fans theorizing that we could be getting a new Blade series or an event that focuses on the character. Then again, Blade just had a vampire war during Jason Aaron's third arc for Avengers.

It will be interesting to see what Marvel comes up with the character since he has been relegated to supporting roles in team books, currently appearing in Avengers. Blade also dressed up as Ronin during The Mighty Avengers, which was a predominantly black superhero group led by Luke Cage.
