Jonathan Majors' promising acting career took a massive plunge last month following his involvement in a shocking domestic dispute with his own girlfriend. While the issue has seemingly simmered down a bit over the last couple of days, especially after his camp presented evidence that aims to prove his innocence, there's been a lot of chatter regarding the actor's future in Hollywood.

The Den of Nerds recently took to Twitter to report that Majors' time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be coming to a screeching halt. The insider says that he heard from one reliable source that Marvel Studios is severing its ties with the actor, although he did clarify that it isn't 100% proven.

If it does end up being true, the scooper says it's only a matter of time before the studio makes things official. It's worth mentioning that Majors is set to appear in the second season of Loki but it is now being reported that he was barely featured in the show and that a recast is still possible at this rate.

According to the most recent reports, the studio is discussing Jonathan's MCU future and as it stands, they've yet to release their verdict. Considering how Disney has handled high-profile scandals in the past, it wouldn't be too surprising if Majors ended up getting ousted from the billion-dollar franchise.

However, this would lead to major (no pun intended) problems for Marvel because as you may know, the actor, who plays Kang the Conqueror is a central figure in the ongoing Multiverse Saga. Hopefully, we'll get more updates or a confirmation even in the coming days.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is currently scheduled to hit cinemas on May 2, 2025.
