Hollywood is still in a state of shock following Jonathan Majors' domestic dispute involvement with his own girlfriend. Jonathan who's having a pretty momentous 2023 so far has insisted on his innocence and according to his representatives, he's actually the real victim.

Obviously, the controversy affects Majors' acting career in general, but many are more concerned about his stint in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and what this scandal could mean for his Kang the Conqueror role.

According to insider Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast, Marvel Studios is very much aware of the situation but has yet to make any decision. Sneider claims that the studio is currently discussing possible options with Majors' agents. He said: "I've heard that Marvel hasn't made any decisions regarding Jonathan Majors but they've met with or spoken to his agent to discuss potential options going forward."

Meanwhile, Jonathan's camp has already released evidence that could prove the actor's innocence but as it stands, we've yet to get new developments regarding the shocking scandal. It's understandable how Marvel Studios is already exploring its options because the actor plays the current saga's main villain.

But if the allegations thrown at Majors end up being proven, it creates a number of problems for the franchise. Apart from his scheduled appearance in Avengers 5, the actor already filmed scenes for Loki Season 2 which is set to premiere sometime this year.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is currently scheduled to hit cinemas on May 2, 2025.
