Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Teases The MCU’s Next 'Master Plan'

Marvel might not have a team-up movie listed down in its roster of films for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that doesn't mean that the studio doesn't have a master plan set out for the franchise.

Speaking in an interview with Omelete during Brazil's CCXP, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel has a plan staged for the next two phases of the MCU. Even though Phase 4 doesn't have a team-up film planned at the end, Marvel is making sure that there's going to be another all-star ensemble in the MCU.

"We're going to make the best Black Widow movie we can possibly make, the best Eternals movie we can make, the best Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange, Thor, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, right?" said Feige. "And keep evolving their stories. And then, yes, it's always fun to see them come together in a master plan. Which is, I promise you, well underway."

This is pretty good news for Marvel fans. While we love the idea that Marvel has a lot of standalone films set for Phase 4 of the MCU, but fans also love that the studio is working towards something bigger. We can only wonder whether the next team-up movie is going to be as big as Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie though. It might take a little bit more time for Marvel to create a team-up movie as big and as complex as Avengers: Endgame, though we're hoping the studio does have enough material for that kind of film after Phase 5 of the MCU.

Phase 4 begins when Marvel releases Black Widow on May 1, 2020.
