The Marvel Cinematic Universe is quite stacked with content these days but what some people tend to forget is that there are loads of projects that have long been in development at Marvel Studios that for some reason, have yet to see the light of day. Some of them have either been shelved or canned altogether to make way for other projects that are on Kevin Feige's high-priority list.

One of which is the Nova project the studio has been working on for quite some time now. Over the last two years, there have been conflicting reports surrounding Richard Rider's MCU debut with some suggesting that it'll be either turned into a film or a streaming series on Disney+.

Now, Twitter insider MyTimeToShineHello shares an exciting update regarding Nova's status. According to the oftentimes reliable tipster, Marvel Studios will stick to its original plan of bringing the cosmic hero's story to the big screen despite the varying reports from several sources in the past.

The only downside is she didn't reveal other details about the project which makes us think that it's still in developmental hell. Here's to hoping though that we'll get more information in the future. Check out the tweet below:

Of course, given how Marvel Studios is rumored to be slowing things down in terms of content due to the negative response Phase Four garnered, projects like Nova and other stuff currently in development might have to wait. I wouldn't exactly bet on them being part of the studio's Multiverse Saga plans because it's already been set in stone.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' Phase Five opener, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is hitting cinemas on February 17, 2023.
