There's no denying that the Scarlet Witch has become one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most pivotal characters and considering we've barely scratched the surface when it comes to her potential, it came as a surprise to everyone how the closing moments of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness seemingly sealed her fate.

Of course, we've never gotten any confirmation on whether or not Elizabeth Olsen's fan-favorite hero-turned-villain is actually gone but the upcoming series Agatha All Along may have confirmed her true status in the billion-dollar franchise.

The upcoming WandaVision spinoff unveiled its first official trailer at the 2024 Disney Upfronts. The trailer, which features Kathryn Hahn's titular character is said to be depicted not as a witch but as a detective struggling with a murder case.

The former "Agnes" is also said to be glancing at a list of dates and shockingly enough, the name "W. Maximoff" can be seen next to October 13th, pretty much confirming that the Harbinger of Chaos died on that day.

The said trailer also features Aubrey Plaza's mysterious character and according to the description which is currently making the rounds on social media, it looks like she'll be instrumental in Agatha snapping out of the spell Wanda cast on her.

Last year, set images from Agatha All Along surfaced online and it appears to be taken from the exact same scene the trailer described. As of writing, the said teaser has yet to be released online but considering Marvel Studios is already hyping up the show, there's a solid chance we'll see it sooner rather than later.

On the subject of Wanda actually being "dead" in the MCU, it's something that should be taken at face value because after all, a Nexus being like her certainly has the ability to restore herself back to life. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

Marvel Studios' Agatha All Along is making a double-episode debut on Disney+ on September 18th.
