There may be very little information about what Marvel has planned for its Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali, but that doesn't mean that fans aren't excited to see the vampire comic book movie.
Marvel Studios surprised fans during last year's San Diego Comic-Con International when the studio announced that it was working on a Blade reboot with Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali. Fans have been demanding a Blade movie for years, and while everyone was hoping to see Wesley Snipes reprise the role, the Blade reboot came as a welcome surprise for the Marvel fanbase.
While details about the project have been sparse, Ali has been keeping excitement levels up by sharing Blade art on social media. Taking to Instagram, the Green Book actor decided to share art of himself as everyone's favorite Daywalker, Blade.

Seeing how Marvel has yet to begin production on the project, we can only imagine what the Luke Cage star might look like as Blade.
Other than this new post by Ali, Marvel has yet to offer fans any sort of update about Blade. The only information that the studio has offered is that the Blade remake may see release sometime in the fall of 2022.
While Marvel Studio's silence on the Blade reboot could upset the Daywalker's fans, we understand why there haven't been that many updates on the project. Right now, Marvel is focusing on films that are closer to their release dates like Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and of course Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Blade is going to premiere much later, so there's no need for Marvel to begin campaigning for the movie.
Black Widow is set to premiere on November 6, 2020.
