Marvel Reveals How Harry Potter Exists in the Marvel Universe

The wizarding world of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series may seem universes away from the comic book universe of Marvel, but it seems like Harry, Ron, and Hermione have actually made a Marvel appearance.

According to Screen Rant, the three Harry Potter heroes make an appearance in New Calibur #3, acomic book by Michael Ryan, Chris Claremont, Rick Ketcham, Tom Orzechowski and Peter Pantazis. In the comic, Marvel fans get to see the new iteration of superteam Excalibur running around through London battling with evil versions of the original X-Men.

New Excalibur #3 begins with a casual Friday Juggernaut making his way through London. Unintentionally smashing into buses and cars while running through the streets to track down the evil X-Men, Cain Marko nearly runs into a group of children in an alleyway.

Surprise, surprise, these children are actually Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

It isn't a subtle cameo. When Juggernaut nearly bumps into the children, Hermoine calls out Harry's name. Ron then asks "what was that?!" while Harry says that he isn't sure though he's "glad it's not after us."

Could this cameo mean that Harry Potter exists within the Marvel Universe? Well, Marvel fans can always point back to this particular comic if anyone wants to argue. New Excalibur is a canon comic book series, so technically, Harry Potter and the gang do exist in Marvel comics.

We wonder if this would ever lead to a crossover. What would that look like, huh? It would probably be wild to see the world of superheroes and wizards coming together.
