Marvel Reportedly Planning to Bring Back Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse

The news might sound strange, but word on the street has it that Marvel Studios may be trying to bring back Star Wars sequel trilogy star Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources say that Marvel is thinking of bringing back Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse after the character appeared in the X-Men movie, X-Men: Apocalypse. Marvel is reportedly interested in seeing the actor make his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the mutant Apocalypse.

This sounds rather interesting knowing how Apocalypse didn't do that well among fans of the X-Men film franchise. Is Marvel interested in bringing other X-Men film characters into the MCU aside from Apocalypse? Could Marvel be considering Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique or Nicholas Hoult as Beast? Would the studio have cast Sophie Turner as Jean Grey?

Sure, Marvel fans might be waiting for Marvel Studios to integrate the X-men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool into the MCU now that Disney owns all of 20th Century Fox's mutant heroes, but it seems unlikely that Marvel might want to bring back Isaac as Apocalypse.

The studio wouldn't want to have an actor from the old X-Men film franchise appear in the MCU. That would break the MCU timeline, connecting the Marvel film franchise with Fox's X-Men movies. If Marvel were to bring Apocalypse into the MCU, then the studio would probably cast a different actor for the role.

What do you think? Would Marvel cast Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
