Marvel Just Cast Walking Dead Star in the Loki Live-Action Series

Marvel just recently began principal photography on Loki this week, and while Marvel fans are excited to see Tom Hiddleston return as everyone's favorite Asgardian God of Mischief, there have been some wondering whether Enchantress might appear in the upcoming Disney+ series.

While some are betting that Sophia Di Martino might play Enchantress in Loki, new casting information for the series reveals that the studio actually has a younger star in mind for the role.

According to a report by Screen Rant, industry insiders say that Marvel just recently cast The Walking Dead actress Cailey Fleming in its upcoming Loki series. Though the studio hasn't really confirmed her role in the series, Fleming is supposed to be playing Young Sylvie, a character which many believe to be Sylvie Lushton, otherwise known to Marvel comic book readers as Enchantress.

We're not entirely sure how large of a role Fleming might have in the upcoming series, but Fleming has had some experience in major blockbuster projects. Not only did she star in The Walking Dead as Judith Grimes, but she also appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as a young Rey. She even appeared in Dark Reign: Young Avengers #1 as part of the Young Masters, a team similar to the Dark Avengers.

This young Enchantress only adds to the suspicion that there's going to be a whole lot of time travel in Loki. We can't wait to see the young child star take on the role of Enchantress in the upcoming series.

Loki is set to premiere on Disney+ in Spring 2021.
