Marvel Fans Outraged That Deleted Scene With Hulk and Black Widow Wasn’t in Infinity War

A deleted scene from Avengers: Infinity War has been making the rounds online, and fans are livid that the sequence wasn't added into the film.

According to a report by the Independent's Indy 100, a deleted scene from Infinity War featuring a touching reunion between the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) has earned the ire of the Marvel fanbase.

The scene in question takes place in Wakdana just as Thanos army starts invading the planet in search of the final Infinity Stone. Placed away from the battlefield Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Black Widow find themselves stumbling onto Bruce Banner who has started to become the full Hulk.

Worried that this version of the Hulk would be the same angry green man that fans have all become familiar with before the advent of Thor: Ragnarok, Natasha tries to calm the Hulk down using the same song that she used in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In that film, Bruce Banner and Natasha formed a meaningful bond that many were hoping could turn into romance – until Banner went into self-exile.

This particular scene would have been a great call-back to that budding romance which is why we understand why fans are devastated that the sequence didn't make it into the omvie.

The bond between Natasha and Bruce was something that Marvel left behind as it continued on to Thor: Ragnarok and to Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie.

What do you think? Should the Russos have added the deleted scene into the film? Let us know in the comment section below.
