It looks like The New Mutants is dominating social media today.

Hoping to see 20th Century Studio's highly anticipated comic book horror movie finally make its way to cinemas, Marvel fans have begun campaigning on Twitter to ask for the film's 2020 release.

The New Mutants started trending on the social media platform when Discussing Film put up a poll asking followers about the movies that had been pushed this year to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Responding to the poll, Marvel fans began discussing The New Mutants and how the film deserves to see a release this year. Not only was the film delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it's been pushed back several times in the past, at one time because of Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, at another because of the release of Deadpool 2.

Warner Brothers has been pushing back a few of its titles this week and Marvel fans have been expressing concern over the fate of upcoming Marvel releases like Black Widow and The New Mutants.
