We have always suspected that Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is going to be one of the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe films and this may have been confirmed in the latest trailer. But does it have a major connection to the Multiverse of Madness? Fans are convinced that the teaser just spoiled the appearance of a character from Doctor Strange 2.
People are loving the new Shang-Chi trailer, thanks to the "Ten Rings" being confirmed to be a real weapon and Michelle Yeoh's mysterious character finally being revealed. There was also a tease at an underwater dragon that fans believe may or may not be Fin Fang Foom. However, it's the final scene in the teaser that has everyone confused.
The last thing we see in the new Shang-Chi trailer is Katy and Shang-Chi watching a cage fight between Abomination and a monk. The monk appears to be trying to channel mystical energy to use against his opponent but Abomination attacks him first.
The monk's face isn't shown in the trailer but fans are convinced that it's actually Stephen Strange's friend Wong.
The idea of Wong being in a cage fight is a shocking one but we're also eager to find out who wins this fight. It's also cool to know that Benedict Wong had actually worked on another MCU flick other than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With that in mind, we can't wait to see him in action later this year.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will premiere on September 3, 2021.
