The Marvel Cinematic Universe officially dominates the nominations for People’s Choice Awards having 21 all in all, with such being announced today, and the banner MCU projects include that of WandaVision, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Loki, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – all the releases were able to secure a slot.
As reported by Deadline, the Marvel Cinematic Universe dominates the People’s Choice Awards with 21 nominations as follows: Black Widow with Movie of the Year and Action Movie of the Year, and Florence Pugh and Scarlett Johansson having the female star of the year and action movie star of the year; and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings got the same nominations plus Simu Liu having a spot on the male star of the year.
As for their series, Loki and WandaVision got four nominations apiece. Both are under the TV show of the year and sci-fi fantasy show of the year along with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki got into the bingeworthy show of 2021. As per the male TV star of the year, Tom Hiddleston got a nomination along with Anthony Mackie of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. For the female TV star of the year, both Elizabeth Olsen and Katherine Hahn made it.

The People’s Choice Awards will be airing on December 7, 2021 and it will simultaneously air on both E! and NBC for the first time ever. It will be scheduled ad 7PM EST for the red carpet special while the program proper will be at 9PM EST. Voting will be until Wednesday, November 17, until 11:59 PM EST. Votes can be through Twitter.
