Why Manny Jacinto's Next Stop Might Be Becoming the New Agent 007
The last time the slick 007 graced the big screens was back in 2021 when Daniel Craig was still playing the role in No Time To Die.
As the new year is right around the corner, there has already been news of looking for a new star-quality actor perfect to take the torch for the next decade.
According to Independent News, James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli said the next actor taking on the role "will be in his 30s" and "not necessarily white."
Apart from rumors surrounding Kraven the Hunter star Aaron Taylor Johnson reportedly screening for Bond, fans have another key actor in mind: The Good Place and The Acolyte's Manny Jacinto.
Upon hearing the news, fans were quick to point out that Manny has the talent and range to bring a new James Bond to the table. If the 37-year-old indeed becomes the new Agent 007, he will become the first Asian James Bond!
"Every time we cast a new actor, the films change. It's the excitement of a new Bond, a new direction," Broccoli's co-producer and brother Michael G. Wilson previously said, "Every one of these people who took on the role offered something new and different."

Manny Jacinto's popularity grew ever since he starred as Qimir aka The Stranger in the recent Star Wars series, The Acolyte.
Apart from becoming the first Filipino actor to step into the franchise, he also proved he could be the sexy villain everyone visualized him to be, what more if he could play the first Asian James Bond in the franchise?
Especially since the actor line-up they're looking for is "not necessarily going to be white."
