The first two Made in Abyss movies – Journey’s Dawn and Wandering Twilight – recap the 13 episodes from Made in Abyss Season 1.
The first movie includes some new scenes at the beginning, but generally, if you've seen the series, you don’t need to see these.
Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul is the only movie that you need to watch. The events in this film are canon and take place after season 1.
Made in Abyss Season 2 – The Golden City of the Scorching Sun – takes place after the events in the third movie, which is another reason why you might want to watch that release.
