Aside from the 1940s noir episode that'll include two musical numbers, Lucifer will also have another music-filled episode in store for the fans.
It is already given that music has been a part of the show ever since its early seasons. That being said, it looks like the fifth season will feature even a lot more music with the announcement of yet another musical episode.
According to Entertainment Weekly, this episode will be titled Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam and is slated as the 10th episode of the season. This makes it the second musical episode since, as mentioned, the noir episode, which is slated as the fourth one, will also have characters who'll break out into a song.
"We wanted to have a real grounded story reason why they're singing and dancing," showrunner Ildy Modrovich tells the outlet. "And not just, ‘Oh, this is going to be the one where everybody sings and dance.
"It's been a little game of Tetris [planning the episode] but it's super fun," she added. Modrovich claims that it's going to be "amazing" and that these kinds of episodes have been "such a bucket list thing" for her. The 10th episode will be a "full-blown" musical one and details are still kept under wraps. Regardless, fans are really excited to see it.
The fifth and final season of Lucifer is expected to air on Netflix later this year. This particular season will be split into two parts, but the release dates are yet to be announced.
