Love After World Domination Episode 2 Recap
Based on a shonen manga of the same name, Love After World Domination, known as Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de in original Japanese, follows the unlikely love story of Fudo Aikawa, a member of the hero squadron "Gelato 5," who fight for world peace; and Desumi Magahara, queen of evil for the organization "Gecko." The two are sworn enemies - but only when they're being watched.
In episode 2, the unlikely lovebirds go so far as to break away from a battle to take a selfie together, but Desumi likes Fudo so much as to feign defeat when one of the latter's companions appears.
Desumi later asks Fudo for a proper date, which ends up being a meet up at the gym, after taking a friend's drunken advice. Thankfully, the couple decide that they're just happy being with each other - when duty doesn't call them to be enemies, at least.
Desumi's cat, Hellko, who swears revenge on Fudo if he hurts her mistress is one of the episode's highlights, and, frankly, who wouldn't want a cat like that?
