Loki Series: Tom Hiddleston Reacts To Kate Herron, Michael Waldron Joining Disney+ Show

Tom Hiddleston rarely posts anything on Twitter so when he does, you know it's big news. Not surprisingly, the Avengers: Endgame star has just reacted to the news that his upcoming Loki series has found its showrunner and director.

Kate Herron was recently confirmed at D23 Expo 2019 to direct the episodes of the highly anticipated Marvel series and the Sex Education director decided to confirm it on Twitter. Interestingly, Hiddleston retweeted the post and revealed that he is already working with Herron and Michael Waldron, who will serve as showrunner. Take a look at the tweet below.

"Already synchronised watches with @iamkateherron and @michaelwaldron. They've done such great work already. Here we go," Hiddleston wrote before adding the hashtag #Loki.

So far, Hiddleston is the only star confirmed for the highly anticipated Loki series and it seems unlikely that the God of Mischief will be running into any of the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, the Loki that will appear in the show is the one who stole the Tesseract (again) in Endgame and is probably trying to avoid the Avengers as much as he can. Still, that doesn't mean that his adventures will not be entertaining.

It was previously confirmed that the Loki series will follow Hiddleston's characters as he moves through time and somehow changes the course of humanity's history. Something tells me that the Vikings are going to enjoy meeting up with the God of Mischief during their time.

The Loki series has not yet been given an official release date but is currently scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in Spring 2021.
