Loki Season 2 Premiere Addresses Sylvie's Fate After Killing He Who Remains
In the post-credits scene of the second season premiere of Loki, it was revealed that Sylvie traveled to Broxton, Oklahoma in 1982 in a branched timeline after the events of the first season finale.
Sylvie ended up entering a McDonald's restaurant that she spotted in the town. While ordering at the cashier, she looked around at the customers that are happily eating and decided to order "everything" on the menu.
There you go, as it turns out, Sylvie decided to go in the past in one of the branched timelines at an American town and decided to try the number one fast-food chain in the country.
It explained the promotional materials that we've also been seeing for the last few months where Sylvie is seen working at the cashier in Mcdonald's, which will likely happen in the following episode.
However, despite not having a major presence throughout the episode, she was still part of the story since the TVA officials were blaming her for the problem regarding the branched timelines
When Loki time-slipped into the future, he saw Sylvie inside an elevator. Before he was able to approach her, someone pruned him to return to the present. It is unknown yet who was responsible for it.
We also saw that General Dox had assembled an army of Minutemen to go to different timelines and find Sylvie.
While Sylvie doesn't have a lot of screen time, we can now expect her to have a larger presence in the following episodes and team up again with Loki at some point. It's interesting to see where they will go with her this season and some fans might also be curious about her new life at McDonald's.
