Fans are still buzzing about Loki's jaw-dropping finale which ended in a massive cliffhanger that intrigued and frustrated not only the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom but the entire geek community as well. The good news is, Marvel Studios officially revealed during the mid-credits scene that the God of Mischief will return for more adventures as Loki has been greenlit for a second season.
As it stands, very little is known about Season 2 but it wouldn't be farfetched to believe that it takes place after the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Tom Hiddleston currently being rumored to appear in the film. But there's also a good chance Marvel Studios will start the season at exactly the right moment where it ended.

This may come as a huge shock but long before the announcement of Season 2, Marvel Studios might have teased it in the trailer. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that one footage from the original trailer of the show featuring a scene with King Loki didn't make it to the finale episode. Naturally, it caused speculation that either the said scene was taken out from the series or it was actually shot specifically for the second season.
If you'll do some digging, Hiddleston revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he was filming scenes for Loki which coincided with his 40th birthday this year. Filming for the project wrapped last year so Tom's revelation clearly indicates that he was filming something else and it's safe to assume that it's in fact the additional episodes that will make up Season 2.
Loki's first season is now streaming on Disney+.
