If there's one thing that Loki Episode 5 proved, it's the fact that there are more Loki Variants out there than we ever expected. But is it possible that someone who is working for TVA might be a Loki Variant as well? Director Kate Herron has finally addressed the possibility.
It all started when Marvel Studios Canada shared stills from Loki Episode 5 that featured all the Loki Variants. Interestingly, the post included Hunter-B15, who had previously helped Loki and Sylvie when they faced the Time-Keepers.
So does this mean Hunter-B15 is actually a Loki? Herron retweeted the post stating that she didn't know about the truth about Wunmi Mosako's characters. She then followed it up with a tweet confirming that she is "100% joking."
We're not sure if Herron meant that she was joking about not knowing Hunter-B15's past or that she's poking fun at Marvel Studios Canada for the error. Nevertheless, the post has been deleted which strongly suggests that the account had realized the mistake.
The idea of Hunter B-15 being a Loki Variant certainly is an interesting one considering that everyone working for TVA is a Variant as well. In addition to that, the character appeared to have a connection with Sylvie in Episode 4. At this point, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the leak turns out to be true.
But why did this particular Loki end up working for the TVA instead of being pruned like the others? Hopefully, we'll find out in the final episode of Loki.
The final episode of Loki will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
