Live-Action X-Men Film Finally Available for Streaming on Disney+

If there's one thing that most Marvel fans have been complaining about when it comes to Disney+, it's the lack of X-Men films being available for streaming. Although Disney has already acquired 20th Century Fox and now owns all of the X-Men movies, these films have yet to be made available on the streaming service. However, things are slowly changing. The first live-action X-Men movie is now available on Disney+.

On Friday, the streaming service has finally released X-Men: Days of Future Past. This is part of Disney+'s Summer Movie Nights series that will add popular films to the service every Friday all throughout this summer. Although the series kicks off with Days of Future Past, you can also expect X-Men: Apocalypse, The Wolverine, and the original X-Men to arrive on Disney+ this summer.

Days of Future Past is certainly an interesting choice to start with when it comes to introducing the X-Men movies into the service. After all, the film introduced the idea of time travel into the X-Men Universe, bringing in the cast of the original films as well as the newer generation and even going as far as showing new mutants from the future. Could this confirm what Marvel is planning for the X-Men? We'll find out soon enough.

X-Men: Days of Future Past starred an ensemble cast made up of Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart. The movie was originally released on May 23, 2014, and is now available on Disney+.
