There is little doubt that people are loving the new themes for the Mugen Train arc in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2. Luckily, you don't have to wait every Sunday to hear the new songs by LiSA. The Japanese artist will be releasing both tracks in her 20th single album. In addition to that, there is a limited edition CD and DVD featuring a special key visual from the anime.
The key visual was shared by the official Demon Slayer Twitter account. It features Tanjiro Kamado and Rengoku Kyojuro getting ready for action. The new image will be featured in the limited edition CD and DVD that will be released later this month. Check it out below.
The CD will consist of the Demon Slayer Season 2 opening theme Morning Star ("Akeboshi") and the closing theme Silver ("Shirogane"), which are both performed by LiSA. There will also be special instrumental versions of the theme. The DVD will include the TV animation for Demon Slayer Season 2's Mugen Train story arc. The limited-edition CD and DVD will be released on November 17, 2021.
LiSA had previously performed the themes for Demon Slayer's first season. Her song Gurenge is one of the most well-known anime opening themes. LiSA also collaborated with the group FictionJunction for the closing theme from the edge.
The new opening and closing themes for Demon Slayer Season 2 will only be used for the Mugen Train arc. There will be new themes introduced for the Entertainment District arc which premieres in December. The new songs will be performed by Aimer.
The next episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is titled Move Forward! and will continue with the Mugen Train arc. Episode 5 will premiere on FujiTV on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
