Lady Gaga is the talk of the town for the two beautiful deeds she does on two separate award’s nights. She first got BBC Radio 1’s back at the 2022 Oscars and helped SZA walk to the stage at the recent Grammy Awards while on crutches.
But aside from being kind, beautiful and talented, Lady Gaga is also one of the wealthiest entertainers in the business today. So how much is she now worth in her about two decades in the industry?
The Start of Lady Gaga’s Fame
Real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, her rise to fame began when she joined the rock music scene of New York City’s Lower East Side in 2003.
However, it was in 2007 when Akon discovered her when she was working at Sony/ATV Music Publishing as a songwriter. He instantly had her sign a joint deal with Interscope and his label, KonLive Distribution.
After a year, her debut album, The Fame, was released. Her hit songs “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” made her a superstar overnight. She then dropped The Fame Monster in 2009, featuring another set of hit music, “Alejandro,” “Telephone” and “Bad Romance.”
Her full-length album, Born This Way, arrived in 2011, followed by Artpop in 2013, Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett in 2014, Joanne in 2016 and Chromatica in 2000. The latter album became her fifth best-selling EP on Amazon Music.
Lady Gaga’s Acting, Touring Ventures
Aside from singing, Lady Gaga also ventured into acting and joined the American Horror Story: Hotel cast in 2015, receiving a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
In 2017, she started Joanne World Tour. She did the halftime Super Bowl LI show and the Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, in the same year.

Touring-wise, the 36-year-old star started her Las Vegas residency, called Lady Gaga Enigma, at the MGM Park Theater in 2018. The residency featured two shows: Enigma, focusing on theatricality and featuring her biggest hits, and Jazz and Piano, presenting the Great American Songbook and the stripped-down versions of her songs.
The Enigma show began in 2018, while the Jazz and Piano started in 2019. For starters, Lady Gaga is the first performer who win Academy Award, a Grammy, a BAFTA, and a Golden Globe Award in the same year.
