La Brea Season 1 Episode 10 Spoilers: Realizations and Sinkholes

La Brea Season 1 Episode 10 airs on NBC next week, and while fans are getting ready for what’s left to be unpacked, the previous episode gave us exactly what we needed to prepare for the big finale.

The network demonstrated from the beginning that they were devoted to making this series a success, and they were mostly successful. In terms of ratings, this has been one of the more successful new programs this year, and it's done well enough that the network has already ordered a second season. They clearly have a notion of where things are heading ahead of time, and as a result, they have the luxury of knowing there's more story to tell.

La Brea Episode 9 Recap

The NBC drama provided us more information about Ella in the last episode of Season 1, proposed a path for the Harris family to reconnect, and painfully disclosed Eve and Levi's affair to her son Josh.

While some doubted Rebecca's claim that Isiah is Gavin, they couldn't risk not making sure he made it through the portal to 1988 in time to meet Eve and have their children. Isiah misidentifies Levi as Josh's father while on their way to do so. After Silas and his people have captured them to trade for Isiah, Josh puts the pieces together and confronts Levi. While he understands his mother's point of view, Gavin reminds Levi that he "was your best friend."

Meanwhile, Ella struggles to trust what Gavin says about their past until she, too, experiences memory flashes and he gives her a stone that matches the one she's drawn. She'll recall her true identity as Lilly, and she'll be glad she kept the jacket she wore when she entered the portal. Rebecca tore a map from Silas' notebook, one that shows the locations of sinkholes, including one that will open the next day in Seattle.

Speaking of the gateway through which Lilly and Isiah will pass, the rest of the survivors in 10,000 BC must make a choice. Who wants to travel back to 1988? Who will remain to discover a way back in time?

La Brea Season 1 Episode 10 Spoilers

There is currently no synopsis available for the La Brea finale, and all we have is the title Topanga, which is most likely a reference to Topanga Canyon.

We believe that some of the mysteries surrounding the worlds will begin to unravel in this episode, but we don't believe that the finale should be viewed as a method to tie together all of the big mythology. Instead, we believe the major purpose will be to go deeper into these people and give you even more reasons to care about them.

La Brea airs at 9/8c on Tuesdays on NBC.
