Knuckles the TV Series Ending Explained: What Happens to Our Favorite Characters?

Knuckles is a TV series that follows the titular character finding his purpose on Earth. As that purpose is to train Wade Whipple to become a warrior, did Knuckles succeed? Here's the ending of the Knuckles TV series explained!

What Happened to Knuckles in the End of the Series?

The 2024 series shows Knuckles training Wade Whipple to become the destined warrior he wants to be. As a part of Knuckles' calling on Earth, as explained by Pachacamac, he must forge Wade the Echidna way.

To Wade, however, his main goal in life is to rekindle his relationship with his father, "Pistol" Pete, despite being abandoned by him when he was a child. The only way Wade sees it is if he also participates in the Bowling Championship his father was participating in.

However, things don't go well as Knuckles is continuously on the run, thanks to being chased by Agents Mason and Willoughby, who want to extract his powers to build the main villain of the story, The Buyer's secret weapon.

Now, The Buyer may have succeeded in robbing Knuckles' powers for a moment, but it was actually thanks to Wade's encouragement that reminded our red-furred friend where his true power comes from.

How Knuckles and Wade Defeated The Buyer

As Knuckles is kicked to the ground, hopeless and defeated, Wade reminds his master that a warrior's power comes from the heart, which makes it an unlimited source of energy for Knuckles' body.

Thanks to this, Knuckles got up, ignited his fists, and defeated The Buyer. Wade learns that he doesn't need his obnoxious father's approval to feel loved, home is where your loved ones are.

As seen in the post-credit scenes, Knuckles is willing to settle on Earth for a while without looking for another reason to brawl.

Although we barely saw Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails with Knuckles in the series, it is thanks to the Echidna warrior spending time with Wade that he realizes he can learn to trust his friends on Earth even more.
