Knives Out 3 Producer Reveals Plans For Its Release

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery arrived in theaters and it will deal with the return of Master Detective Benoit Blanc in the sequel under the direction of Rian Johnson within T-Street Productions. With the hype, producer Ram Bergman reveals when their plans for Knives Out 3 would roll out.

Those who love murder mysteries would surely fall in love with Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery as it takes everyone into a new adventure and while people are still enjoying it in theaters while some wait for its Netflix release, producer Ram Bergman already shares their plans for Knives Out 3.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Ram Bergman, producer of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, shares how long it will take for Knives Out 3 to come into fruition, Bergman said, "Well, it's a good question."

Bergman compares the process from the first two films, "The first one, [Johnson] had the idea for years in his head, but he only put pen to paper like late January and by end of October we were filming it, which is a super fast. This movie, he really did not have an idea."

Bergman added, "He just stopped thinking and we were... From the moment he started really writing it, like, nine months later, a year later, we were filming. So, the good thing, he is very motivated to go do the next one as quickly as possible."

So as not to give the wrong impression to others, Bergman keeps the answer open-ended, "You know, we'll see how fast he is but this is gonna be a challenge. It's gonna be a bigger challenge. So we'll see how long it's gonna take."

Currently playing in theaters, a new case is placed on the hands of Benoit Blanc in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery where a tech billionaire named Miles Bron gathers his friends to a private Greek Island for a getaway but in a sour twist of events, one of them dies.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will see the return of Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc and he will be solving a new mystery with Edward Norton as Miles Bron, Janelle Monáe as Cassandra "Andi" Brand, Kathryn Hahn as Claire Debella, and Leslie Odom Jr. as Lionel Toussaint.

Also in the cast of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery are Kate Hudson as Birdie Jay, Jessica Henwick as Peg, Dave Bautista as Duke Cody, Madelyn Cline as Whiskey, and Ethan Hawke.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is already out in theaters in the US and for those outside of it, it will be having a Netflix release on December 23, 2022.
