Kit Harington is a Ridiculous NPC in Fun SNL Sketch

With Game of Thrones 8 set to premiere this month, Kit Harington has recently made an appearance at Saturday Night Live as a host to help promote the release. While most of the sketches usually had the show making fun of Game of Thrones, there’s actually this fun skit with Harington playing a funny NPC in a shooter game.

Check it out:

The basic premise is basically the show poking fun at games where players have to do a lot of interacting with NPCs. It’s actually a pretty clever sketch, and it’s fun to watch Harington play someone who isn’t Jon Snow.

Usually when it comes to television shows, some actors end up never finding another defining role for themselves when a series ends. Outside of Game of Thrones, Harington actually has very few notable roles. I’m crossing my fingers though that he manages to get back on his feet after GoT. Who knows, maybe he can be cast as a Targaryen/Stark ancestor come the spinoff prequel series. Heck, I’d settle for a voice cameo.

Game of Thrones 8 is setting up to be one of the biggest finales in TV ever. Hopefully David Benioff and D.B. Weiss manage to come up with an ending that will satisfy everyone. Game of Thrones has grown to be one of the biggest shows on HBO, and while a lot are sad to see it go, it’s good for a show to end things on a high note and not until they run out of ideas.

Game of Thrones 8 premieres on HBO April 14.
