King Charles III is reportedly "tired and furious" by the disobedience of his family members. Aside from the alleged continuous negotiation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for them to attend his coronation, he and Prince Andrew are allegedly fighting over Royal Lodge in Windsor.

King Charles is supposed to be focusing on the preparations for his coronation on May 6 at Windsor Castle. However, he's still fixing the problems with his family, as Prince Andrew allegedly doesn't want to leave his $37 million home.

Prince Andrew Refuses to Leave Royal Lodge

According to Page Six, the Duke of York refuses to follow the monarch's order to leave his home for almost 20 years. The prince has lived in the sprawling mansion since 2003.

So, to convince him to move, His Majesty is said to have given his younger brother the keys to Prince Harry and Meghan's former home of Frogmore Cottage.

King Charles evicted the Sussexes from their house in the U.K. and meant to move out after the coronation.

But despite his amends, Sarah Ferguson's ex-husband remains firm and refuses to leave his much-grander home.

"Andrew doesn't want to leave because the property is seen as a symbol of senior royalty — an important property in the family's portfolio," a royal source told the outlet. "But William, who is the heir to the throne, has his eye on it."

Prince William Allegedly Eyes Royal Lodge

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, moved to Adelaide Cottage in the summer of 2022.

However, the home only has four beds, seemingly too small for a family of five, considering the Prince of Wales also needs more office space due to his growing role in the monarchy.

"The cottage they live in once belonged to people who worked for the royals – such as Group Captain Peter Townsend, who had a romance with Princess Margaret and who described it as an 'ice box' — and is very cramped," royal commentator Joshua Rom said. "It makes a lot more sense for William to have this house to reflect his new role particularly as Andrew is no longer a 'working royal' and therefore doesn't need an office or to entertain dignitaries."

King Charles and Prince Andrew's Relationship

With Prince Andrew's refusal to leave Royal Lodge, a source said his relationship with his older brother, King Charles, "has never been this bad."

"It has turned into a real battle which he never expected, and it's left him tired and infuriated," the insider explained.

"Their relationship has never been easy and they have always been in competition with each other," Nigel Hawthorne, Prince Andrew: Epstein, Maxwell, and the Palace author, stated.

"While Charles' navy career was little more than captain of some antiquated minesweeper, Andrew fought in the Falklands War and came back a war hero," he continued. "But the problem with being the spare is that every time there is a new birth you slip down the rankings, and [Andrew] has been completely eclipsed. Charles is King and holds all the power."

Hawthorne is writing a book about King Charles and Prince Andrew's relationship.
