Kim Zolciak has made a name as a TV personality, mostly known for being a part of the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the spinoff Don’t Be Tardy.

Kim Zolciak’s Career

The 44-year-old started her career in 2008, becoming one of the original housewives in The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

She left the show during its fifth season in 2012 but returned as a “friend of the housewives” for its tenth season in 2017-2018.

She also had her own spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding, in 2012, featuring her wedding preparations to the footballer Kroy Biermann.

The show was renewed for a second season with a new much-shorter title, Don’t Be Tardy, and ran for eight seasons until it ended in December 2020.

Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann Divorce

Zolciak and Biermann have ended their 12 years of marriage amid their alleged $1 million unpaid taxes.

The couple tied the knot in 2011 after meeting at a charity event in 2010.

They share four kids, Kroy Jagger, 11; Kash, 10; and the twins Kane and Kaia, 9. Biermann also legally adopted her two daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from prior relationships.

In the documents obtained by TMZ Monday, May 8, Zolciak listed the date of separation as April 30 and declared the marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

She’s also seeking to primarily have the physical custody of their kids and joint legal custody, along with the request to legally restore her maiden name.

The publication added that the now-ex-pair owes $1.1 million to the IRS due to unpaid taxes, interests, and penalties from 2013, 2017, and 2018.

They also reportedly owe the state of Georgia $15,000 for unpaid taxes for 2018. Their home in Atlanta was already foreclosed in February.
