Queen of Tears is a beautiful K-Drama that follows the story of a married couple falling in love with one another again. The show also proves the presence of loyal friends, as in the case of Kim Yang-Gil in Queen of Tears.
Who is Kim Yang-Gil and why are fans rooting for him to end up with Secretary Na? Here's what you need to know.

Who is Kim Yang-Gil from Queen of Tears?
Kim Yang-Gil (played by Moon Tae-Yoo) is Baek Hyun-Woo's (Kim Soo-Hyun) friend and divorce lawyer in Queen of Tears.
He appears throughout the series as Hyun-Woo's loyal friend, who has been with him ever since he originally wanted to divorce his wife. And when Hyun-Woo starts to fall for his wife again, he also warns his friend of his actions.
Eventually, when Hong Hae-In (played by Kim Ji-Won) learns of Hyun-Woo's plan to divorce her, Yang-Gil serves as his friend's divorce lawyer. Even if that meant facing against Atty. Vincenzo Cassano (played by Song Joong-Ki).
As Hyun-Woo starts to investigate Yoon Eun-Sung (played by Park Sung-Hoon), Yang-Gil helps him out. Yang-Gil was also part of the team of lawyers (the Avengers) who defended Hyun-Woo against Eun-Sung's plan to kick him out of the Queens' company.
Towards the later part of the show, Yang-Gil proves that he is a true friend to Hyun-Woo as he helps him get out of jail for allegedly murdering Pyeon Seong-Uk (played by Kwak Jin-Seok).
He was also the one who helped Hyun-Woo rescue Hae-In as she got kidnapped by Eun-Sung. While driving Hyun-Woo to the location, he worried whether his friend had passed away from his earlier accident.
To convince him, Hyun-Woo tells him that he is not going to die. He also calls the police to save the couple before Eun-Sung could finish them off.

Are Secretary Na and Kim Yang-Gil a Couple?
Because of how loyal Kim Yang-Gil has been to Hyun-W00, avid Queen of Tears fans can't help but ship him with Secretary Na (played by Yoon Bo-Mi), who was also a good friend to Hae-In.
In one of the earlier episodes, Secretary Na was seen taking care of her child while her boss was away.
Meanwhile, Yang-Gil casually mentioned that he had a wife and child. This led fans to speculate whether the two were a couple in the show.
Although it was never confirmed in the ending of Queen of Tears, many fans couldn't help but imagine how interesting their interaction would be.
Hopefully, the producers of the show would give in to the request of fans and throw in this scene in one of the two special episodes lined up.
