The former reporter turned YouTuber spoke about the incident where the actor was rushed to the hospital and sheds light on his health condition.
Kim Seon Ho Suffered Health Issues Because of Intense Stress
As obtained by AllKpop, Lee Jin Ho posted a video on July 9 discussing Kim Seon Ho’s health scare.
According to the YouTuber, the actor suffered from shingles because of extreme stress, comprising his immune system.
As explained by Mayo Clinic, shingles is a “viral infection that causes a painful rash” called varicella-zoster virus (VZV) and can occur in any part of the body.
It mostly appears as a blister that wraps around either the left or the right side of the torso.
On the other hand, the YouTuber dismissed the reports saying that the actor was rushed to the emergency room because of his condition.
To recall, in October 2021, at the height of the controversy involving Kim Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend, the Start-Up star was reportedly hospitalized.
As noted by Pinkvilla, he was admitted to a university hospital near Seongbuk-gu. However, at the time, the reason behind it was unclear.
On the other hand, the public criticized the media for lack of privacy after a group of media was spotted waiting in the hospital’s lobby to get a glimpse of the celebrity.

Kim Seon Ho’s New Movie to his Theater Comeback
After months of his hiatus and clarifying the controversy, Kim Seon Ho is back with his activities on the big screen and in theaters.
He recently premiered in a theater play Touching the Void and transformed as mountaineer Joe Simpson.
Debuting on July 8 and will run till September 18, Kim Seon Ho’s stage play is held at Seoul’s Art One Theater.
Days before the premiere reports noted that tickets for Touching the Void were already sold out which only proves the actor’s star power
The play is based on a real-life story of two British mountaineers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, who encountered a near-death experience as they climbed down from the summit of Siula Grande in the Andes.
The story was also released in a novel in 1988 and a movie of the same name.
Joining Kim Seon Ho as cast members are Shin Sung Min, Oh Jung Taek, Lee Hwi Jong, and Jung Hwan.
From his comeback to theater, the 36-year-old heartthrob will have his big-screen debut in the movie Sad Tropics.
According to a report, Kim Seon Ho returned to South Korea in April two weeks after filming the upcoming movie in Thailand.
Kim Seon Ho’s role in his first-ever movie has not been disclosed but Sad Tropics follows the story of an amateur boxer who was born to a Korean father and Filipina mother.
In hopes of finding his father, he returned to his homeland but encountered an unexpected incident.
Besides Kim Seon Ho, Sad Tropics cast includes Go Ah Ra, Kang Tae Joo, and Kim Kang Woo.
