Kim Seon Ho is ready to return in the upcoming play, Touching the Void.
From an instant star, Kim Seon Ho immediately lost the spark after his ex-girlfriend, Choi Young-Ah, made a damaging revelation about their relationship. She alleged that the actor urged her to abort their baby to save his career.
As a result, he lost all his projects, including his 2 Days & 1 Night and future series and movies.
Despite losing hope, the actor gained the courage to face everyone again and show his skills through an upcoming play.

Kim Seon Ho Shows Timeless Visuals in Touching the Void Poster
Weeks after the reports about Kim Seon Ho’s participation in Touching the Void surfaced, Kim Seon Ho’s agency SALT Entertainment released the official poster of the upcoming play via Naver.
Running from July 8 to September 18, Touching the Void is a play that explores the lives of two British mountaineers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates. They almost faced death during their trip from the summit of Siula Grande.
The story was previously included in Joe Simpson’s book, Touching the Void, and adapted into a film.
Before the premiere at Seoul’s Art One Theater, the agency hyped fans with Kim Seon Ho’s poster as he plays the role of Joe Simpson.

The caption reads, “No one has ever seen this view before. Right now, we are the only ones who have seen it.”
Although he is now back in the stage play industry, Kim Seon Ho is yet to fully regain what he had before.
For instance, the 2 Days and 1 Night chief producer Lee Hwang Sun already dismissed the idea of adding Kim Seon Ho to its cast members.
Kim Seon Ho Tries To Get Up After Issues
Before confirming his appearance in Touching the Void, Star 1 reported that the actor would focus on one movie this year – Sad Tropics.
"According to Kim Seon-ho's aide, he will not engage in any other acting activities except for the schedule for the movie [Sad Tropics], which is currently filming this year," the article said. "The same goes for the advertising industry. Kim Seon-ho's side is politely rejecting new advertising offers as well as renewing contracts with brands he is currently working as a model."
But with his participation in Touching the Void, his fans are hopeful that they will see him in more flicks this year.
