Kim Go Eun is set to star in multiple K-dramas this 2022. It means that fans would be seeing more of this 30-year-old beauty with his two new series.
After captivating viewers' hearts with her role in Cheese in the Trap, the then rising actress proved she has what it takes to be the next sought-after female lead after joining the cast of blockbuster K-drama Goblin with Hallyu star Gong Yoo.
The 2016 fantasy series skyrocketed Kim Go Eun's fame and eventually opened doors to more notable projects.
In 2019, she headlined the melodrama film Tune in for Love with Jung Hae In, followed by another mega-hit series in 2020 with Lee Min Ho for the mystery romance The King: Eternal Monarch.
A different Kim Go Eun appeared on the small screen with her role as Kimm Yumi in the webtoon-based K-drama Yumi's Cells, opposite Ahn Bo Hyun.
As the actress welcomed 2022, she is about to get booked and busy with two lineup projects.
Kim Go Eun's to Return as Kim Yumi in Yumi's Cells 2
Right before the rom-com series aired in September 2021, director Lee Sang Yeob revealed that Yumi's Cells would have multiple seasons.
Fortunately, it gained a positive response from the viewers, noting the K-drama's unique plot and the impressive portrayal of the cast.
The first season follows the story of Yumi and her exciting life with her adorable cells. They are the ones who dictate her thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions with Love as her primary cell.
While season one focuses on her romance with Goo Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, screenwriter Song Jae Jung revealed that Yumi's Cells 2 will highlight her special friendship with officemate Yoo Bobby, portrayed by GOT7's Jinyoung.

Kim Go Eun New Drama: Little Women
Apart from the much-awaited series, Kim Go Eun's new drama will be helmed by the Money Flower and Vincenzo director Kim Hee Won.
Little Women is based on the novel that depicts the story of three sisters who grew up in poverty. Unfortunately, their family got caught up in an incident involving the country's wealthiest clan.
Nam Ji Hyun will join her as the middle child Oh In Kyung, while All of Us Are Dead actress Park Ji Hoo will be their youngest sibling, Oh In Hye.
Kim Go Eun's new drama Little Women is slated to premiere sometime this 2022 via tvN.
