My Roommate is a Gumiho is a South Korean television series that premiered on tvN on May 26, 2021, and ran until July 15 for a total of 16 episodes. The show is based on the webtoon My Roommate Is a Gumiho

The story follows Shin Woo-yeo (played by Jang Ki-yong), a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox, who wants to become human, and Lee Dam (played by Lee Hye-ri), a female college student who accidentally swallows his fox bead.
The bead can exist inside a human for no more than a year, and afterward, the bead will break inside that person, causing them to die.
Not wanting to lose his chance of becoming human, Woo-yeo suggests living together until they figure out a solution.

The plot revolves around Hong Ji-A (portrayed by Jang Na-ra), an exorcist who operates Daebak Real Estate. Her business specializes in exorcising malevolent spirits from properties before selling them.
In her pursuit of uncovering a hidden truth involving an IT conglomerate, she forms an unlikely partnership with Oh In-Bum (played by Jung Yong-hwa), a charming conman who feigns exorcism expertise.
