Have you been wondering about the planned Howard the Duck series that would air on Hulu? Kevin Smith has just confirmed that the project is definitely moving forward and even offered an update on what will happen in the show.
In a recent episode of his Fatman Beyondpodcast, Smith recently opened up about Jeph Loeb having to part ways with Marvel Television now that Kevin Feige has been promoted as Chief Creative Officer.
"Jeph I spoke to about it not too long ago. He wasn't like 'f--k!' he was like 'this is cool, I'm ready to do something,'" Smith said. "Remember, we're now coming into an age where Kevin Feige has the Marvel shows on Disney+ and they're gonna be f--king amazing."
This would mean that Feige would be taking over Marvel Television and it sounds like the Marvel Studios president is still cool with Smith's planned Howard the Duck series.
"Now, Marvel TV won't cease to exist it's just becoming this different version. I hear the Hulu shows are still alive. So far, so good for Howard the Duck. I'll let you know if anything happens," Smith said.
It's great to know that both Loeb and Smith are very optimistic about what will happen with Marvel Television. We're already looking forward to new updates on Howard the Duck in the future.
The premise of the Howard the Duck series is still unknown but it could follow the beloved Marvel character after the events in Avengers: Endgame.
