Kevin Feige Shares Interesting Fantastic Four Casting Update

It has been a while since we got any updates on the Fantastic Four reboot. This is understandable considering that there are several other Marvel Cinematic Universe projects being developed. However, Kevin Feige has shared an awesome update on the casting of key roles in the upcoming movie.

Back in December, it was confirmed that Marvel Studios will be working on a reboot of the newly acquired Fantastic Four. It was also announced that Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts will helm the project. However, it was not yet revealed who will be playing Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing.

But has things changed since then? Feige recently spoke to ComicBook.com where he teased who would be cast in Fantastic Four.

"I think the MCU is a beautiful combination of both [established actors and new faces]," Feige said. "I think you look no further than Simu in Shang-Chi, like Chris Hemsworth, like Tom Hiddleston, like Tom Holland, an actor that hadn't been seen by a tremendous amount of people before, or you have a Benedict stepping into Doctor Strange or Christian Bale stepping into Gorr in our Thor film."

Feige continued by pointing out that it's all about finding the perfect actor for the roles.

"It is always a beautiful combination of both," he said, "and it really is about the search for the best actor for the job whether that actor is known to the world yet or not."

This is great to hear considering that people already have their own ideas of who would be perfect for Fantastic Four. For instance, fans are still hoping that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt will eventually portray Reed Richards and Sue Storm, respectively. Hopefully, we'll get an official announcement soon.
