Kengan Omega Chapter 147: The Changing Seasons
In the previous chapter of Kengan Omega, Hayami said that the Kengan Association is better without him. His statement hints two possibilities: Either he wants to continue Katsumasa's nefarious plans, or he intends to take over Kengan Association himself. Chapter 146 showed his terrifying side when he killed his father and his bodyguard.
Now that Kengan Omega Chapter 147 is out, here are major spoilers: The title is revealed to be Changing Seasons, and it begins in a Japanese neighborhood with Yamashita Yasuo telling Yamashita Kazuo and Narushima Koga to have a good day.
Yamashita asks how Koga is feeling, and he says, he's never been better. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and Kure Erioh's funeral is held in the village.
Many people paid their respects to Erioh, including Ohma who was sitting next to Kure Karura.
The two females Kushidarin and Akiyamakaede greets good morning to Yamashita and Koga, who is entering the office.
At Ohkei University, Koga is looking for Hayami Masaki, but a group of martial arts students says that he doesn't have time for clubs. One of them tells Koga to look out for him as he's been through a lot.
Hayami greets Koga cheerfully, and gives him a tray of food. Hayami asks Koga about his debut as a fighter, and he went up against a guy with no-win and a three-loss record but, he was actually tough. Hayami says that his record is not always proportional to his strength while he eats.
It's revealed that the public story claims that the death of Katsumasa, Hayami's father was accidental. Hayami tells Koga that his uncle is running Toyo Electric Power Co. now, and he's been reliable and flexible despite lacking the charm of Hayami's father.
Hayami says that he's been more worried about Koga, and Koga wonders why. He says that it looks like Koga's been brooding over something, and Koga says, "For real?". Hayami says that they'll go for dinner again next time.
Later on, Koga is training hard with Kureishi Mitsuyo watching. Kureisha wonders if something is wrong, but Koga says, "Not yet, maybe later." Koga says he has to meet someone, so he goes to shower.
That person is Tokita Ohma, and it turns out that Koga called him out of the blue. It's been three months since the competition and it's about to be spring. They're walking around the city, and Koga asks if Ohma will get back to fighting, and Ohma says maybe, if he feels like it. Koga asks Ohma to fight him, and Ohma looks surprised.
Meanwhile Kiryu Setusna meets Gaoh Ryuki, and Ryuki says to set the world right again, to which Gaoh agrees.
It looks like this chapter is building-up Koga and Hayami's role for the next big conflict of Kengan Omega. What could be the reason why Koga wants to fight Ohma?
