Kengan Omega Chapter 144 Spoilers: Will Ohma join the battle vs. Edward Wu?

In the previous chapter, titled Sacrificial Pawn, Kure Erioh and his allies continue to fight Edward Wu, but the villain's overwhelming power is hard for them to deal with, and Erioh ends u sacrificing himself to give the opening they need to take him down, but is Wu Xing's attack enough to kill him?

The chapter also shows Muteba Ginzenga informing Tokita Ohma about the Kure's fight against Edward Wu, and he offers to make a deal to accompany him in his new mission.

Kengan Omega Chapter 144 will likely reveal if Edward Wu survived Wu Xing's attack. It's also likely that we will see Ohma and Muteba join the fight.

Update: Now that Kengan Omega Chapter 144 is out, here are major spoilers: The title of the latest chapter is Transcendent, and it begins with Edward Wu feeling the pain from Wu Xing's critical hit while Erioh is dying.

Then we get to see a flashback with Erioh, Wu Xing, and the other members of the Kure clan. Erioh says that Edward is considered a combatant instead of an assassin, and that he was once a combatant himself but he's grown too old. He says that in order to take him down, they will have to take the assassin's approach, and that sacrifices will be inevitable.

Wu Xing says that he swears that Erioh's sacrifice won't be in vain, but Ed is still alive. It turns out that the poison is not kicking in, and that he used the removal on his artery. Erioh says that not even a sneak attack is enough.

Kure Raian shows up behind Ed, and he curses Erioh for pulling that making the sacrifice. Ed charges, and punches Raian hard on the face, throwing him to the ground.

Ed takes the stance and performs the Wu Clan Ultimate Technique - Mount Tai North Star Eightfold Demolition Fist. He attacks Raian but Rian is able to hit him hard; they exchange a lot of powerful blows, and Ed wonders why he is still not able to take down Raian.

Then Ed hears Erioh's words, "You were too strong. That's why you lost. Your excessive strength breeds confidence." Erioh says that Raian will surpass him at his prime one day.

Then swiftly, Raian slices off Ed's neck with just one finger, and tells him that he never stood a chance.

Kengan Omega Chapter 145 will most likely catch up to what Ohma and Muteba are up to. Now that Ed is dead, it's likely that we will see a new conflict arise in the next chapter. We might see more of the Worms.
