Kengan Omega Chapter 149 Spoilers: Supernovas
In the previous chapter of Kengan Omega, Gilbert Wu is revealed to be the clone of Edward Wu, and he ends up killing Howard Wu. With the loss of Howard Wu, the moderates of the Westward Faction were disbanded, and the remaining members of the group joined Gilbert Wu. This would only cause the conflict between the Westward Faction and the Kare-Wu alliance to intensify.
Meanwhile, in a mountain area, a mysterious masked spy informs another mysterious man with a huge built and long hair that both Edward and Howard Wu are dead. He tells him that Gilbert wishes to speak to him, and asks if he will be seeing him connect or...
Now that the latest chapter of Kengan Omega has been released, we now have major spoilers. The title of Chapter 149 is Supernovas, and it begins in Florence, Italy, two years after the competition.
We see a couple walking in the crowd, and they notice that the police appear to be in full force. An officer asks to see the passport of someone who looks like a tourist. A police asks to inspect the bag of an old man, who shockingly brings out a bomb that explodes in the city. There were no survivors. The Worm has done it again.
Meanwhile, a spectated fight is going on, and announcer Katahara Sayaka and ref Shiina Alisa introduce Utsubuki Kokuro "Wolf Soldier" and his opponent Narushima Koga, the "Fist-Eye"
Half-a-year has passed, and Narushima Koga has returned to the Kengan matches.. Kokuro asks Koga how'd he find Purgatory, and Koga says that juggling two jobs gave him twice the experience.
It turns out the Ref Shiina Alisa transferred from Purgatory to the Kengan matches, and the crowd is criticizing the Kengan Association for being loose on letting fighters double-job.
Both fighters take their stance. Kokuro swings but Kokuro's attack was abruptly cut off thanks to Koga's "post-initiative" reaction. Kokura rapidly sends a flurry of punches but Koga is able to defend himself and he's seen touching Kokura's wrist.
Kokuro tries to do a "Stinger" attack but he missed as Narushima is able to dodge his attack by a hair by estimating its distance. Kokuro says, "Not bad".
The next chapter will likely continue this fight, but we might see the conflict against the Westward Faction and the Worm develop further.

Kengan Omega is a weekly scheduled manga, so the English version of Chapter 149 is expected to release on Wednesday, March 1, 2022, around 11AM time EST. Kengan Omega Chapter 148 was released last week around the same schedule, so expect Chapter 149 to be released around the same time.
